Numerous food locations , and bars . Empty shops are giving the area a tired look . Nice safe beach suitable for young children but can become overcrowded in holiday times.

Hillarys Boat Harbour - South Beach
Went for the Duck Derby last Sunday. Scheduled to start at 2pm but didn't begin till 2.20pm while the public roasted and dehydrated in the sun. Got a few frights by the several low flying gulls looking for a feed. Hillarys is otherwise my go to place to relax. ❤️ it.

Went to the Boola Djarat Wardan and then had a great variety of desserts. Wonderful atmosphere and family friendly.

A great little cove for young families to chill. I miss the water slides it once had. It's a shame they took that away. More shade is needed but if you bring your own its fine. Can get full but what beach doesn't when it gets hot. Then you can head over to the board walk for food n drinks. Enjoy this little delight

Great place, something for all ages to do whether rainy or shiny. Any cuisine you want plus many interesting shops. And the kids can play on the sheltered beach and swim in the sea. Rottnest ferries moor there.

Hillarys Boat Harbour - South Beach
Hillarys Boat Harbour South Beach is a perfect beach for kids and new swimmers, almost no waves here and the beach is usually very clean and safe for all. Nice showers and clean toilets near by make this a perfect spot for the whole family, parking here can be a challenge on weekends and during peak times.

Lovely place to visit with your little ones, shallow water, clean, a nice playground just a few meters away, public toilets and close free parking
