Coral Bay Beach
One of the best beaches I've been to. So flat, clear and warm! The crystal clear blues, greens and whites are mesmerising and this beach is sure to steal a piece of your heart.

All the coral is brown and dead due to a natural occurrence, hardly any beach at all at high tide. Water is beautiful blue and shallow, great for kids

This is one of the prettiest beaches on the coast here. But do not go during school break. It is crazy busy! Even the Post Office ran out of room and had parcels out the front. Lol

I didnt want to leave. From the activities like snorkelling with different fish coral and even a turtle. Lots of marine life to look at or take photos or swim with. Great places to stay and eat. Reef cafe was the best food, drink and service. Everything is walking distance. We even did quad bike turtle tour at sunset. Was amazing!!! So much fun for myself my fiancee' and our 13yr old daughter. Our friends got married on the beach it was beautiful

The biggest coral riff that I have ever seen, it is directly at the beach. Go left along the beach to the shield, there is the best spot for snorkeling to see very nice and big corals in different colors. ENJOY!

Crowded. Be very aware of people walking in the middle of the street and kids on bicycles as there’s only one main street between the beach and the campsites.Beautiful beach. Perfect for snorkeling.

Amazing beach for the whole family. No waves, so little children can swim comfortably. Great for snorkeling, as the reef is so close to the shore. Paddle boards and Kayaks allowed.

We went to coral bay end of april. The weather was amazing! not so hot,not so cold... it was school holidays as well. the beach was a bit crowded. I recommend to reserve your accommodation more early cause most of the accommodations are fully booked and if you ask for accommodation on the spot you might pay a little bit higher than usual... it's a beautiful white sand beach... bring your own shade or tent... they've got a few built in shade but it's better if you'll just bring your own and set it up wherever you want..

A beautiful beach on a beautiful day. Unfortunately all the coral is dead. An unfortunate series of natural events: a cyclone in March on the same day as the coral spawning pushed all the spawn into Coral Bay and kept it there causing the water to be depleted of oxygen which in turn killed all the coral. You only have to go 300 meters south to find good coral or a kilometre north. It’ll come back but give it a few years. ( current August 2022).
